FanDuel advertised that if Gronk’s kicking was good, the sportsbook would pay out $10 trillion in loose bets. FanDuel customers who made a qualifying wager on the weapons platform would obtain a percentage of the value pool.
During Sunday’s program on Fox, Gronk’s boot missed wide-cut left. FanDuel said it will ease publication the $10 trillion inwards bets anyway.
Bettors relieve weren’t pleased, as many questioned whether Gronkowski’s kicking was actually live. Others pondered if the intact event was staged, with some questioning the legitimacy of the kick.
The boot that airy appeared to be good despite the voice-over announcer expression it missed left. The give up FanDuel shared to its societal media channels more clearly showed that the kick indeed was astray left.

FanDuel Criticism
FanDuel’s Super Bowl commercial aired during the third quarter. Dubbed “the first-ever live Super Bowl commercial,” the bit seemed intemperately produced and its “live” exact was to a great extent questioned.
Taped, non live. Fixed, simply the likes of the NFL,” commented i of FanDuel’s followers on Twitter.
“Fully thought this was going to be unrecorded on the field. What did i just now watch?” asked another. “That was clear non live. It was recorded and staged,” said someone else.
“Ridiculously fake. Boo, FanDuel,” another Twitter notice read.
Twitter user Book of Daniel Kahn said FanDuel shouldn’t have paid come out the release credits since Gronkowski’s kicking didn’t come out good. Kahn opined that losing is part of sports betting.
“I appreciate relieve getting the fillip bets, but FanDuel, you earnestly need to joystick to your word,” Louis Isadore Kahn tweeted. “You said if he makes it the fillip bets are awarded. That’s how sports betting works. You win some and lose some. No 1 should follow getting anything.”
Lackluster Commercials
The $7 1000000 damage for a 30-second commercial-grade was a book range for the Super Bowl. But despite the luxuriously cost tag, the commercials were for the most part ho-hum, with few lasting, memorable spots.
For more than a decade, Yahoo! Sports has reviewed every Super Bowl commercial. And for the FanDuel spot, the media political platform gave the sportsbook a “D” grade.
“Well, that was disappointing. After weeks of buildup, Rob Gronkowski attempted a theater of operations end ‘live’ … and missed? A unit lot of slipway they could experience ‘proven’ it was live, but nope. Underwhelming,” Yahoo! Sports concluded.
DraftKings’ Super Bowl commercial didn’t transportation often better. DraftKings’ tell apart starring Kevin Moss Hart received a “C.”
FanDuel and DraftKings were the only when II sports betting advertisers during this year’s Super Bowl. During the previous Super Bowl, DraftKings and Caesars Sportsbook were the industry’s lone Super Bowl advertisers.
