Forgotten Las Vegas Casino Bomb Plot Revisited in New A&E True Crime Series
A new dead on target crime serial debuting on A&E Fri revisits a mostly forgotten bomb plot against Las Vegas casinos in its number one episode.
“Undercover: Caught on Tape” follows undercover practice of law enforcement agents during some of their most severe assignments through and through surveillance video and sound recordings from literal investigations.
On Friday, the demo revisits the instance of Jeffrey Tenpenny, a Las Vegas man with a serious score against the Mirage and the Golden Nugget, so properties owned by Steve Wynn’s Mirage Resorts.
Casino Vendetta
Tenpenny purchased bombs with the purport of blowing both properties sky-high. He also planned to execution Carolyn Ellsworth, an attorney for Wynn and now a senior Nevada judge.
Unfortunately for Tenpenny, but mirthfully for everyone else, the people who sold him the bombs were undercover agents with the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF).
Previously, Tenpenny was injured inward an lift accident at the Golden Nugget and sued the casino for damages.
