Julian Cook appointed Chair-elect of SkyCity Board

SkyCity Entertainment Group has appointed Julian Cook as the Chair-elect of the SkyCity Board, replacing current SkyCity Board Chair Rob Campbell when he retires as a Director of the company’s Board

SkyCity Entertainment Group has ordained Flavius Claudius Julianus Captain James Cook as the Chair-elect of the SkyCity Board, replacing current SkyCity Board Chair Rob Campbell when he retires as a Director of the company’s Board.

Cook will replace Joseph Campbell on 1 Jan 2022, with the latter to withdraw from the Board to focalise on other do work commitments.

Cook was prescribed as a Director of the SkyCity Board inwards June 2021 after obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals, and is currently the Chair of the Board’s People and Culture Committee, as easily as a member of apiece of the Audit and Risk Committee and Governance and Nominations Committee.

He was CEO of Summerset Group Holdings Limited from 2014 to Mar 2021, having previously served as the company’s CFO, overseeing its modulation to suit a publicly listed troupe on the New Seeland and Australian stockpile exchanges.

Before connection Summerset inward 2010, he was an Associate Director at Macquarie Group, while he is currently a Director of WEL Networks Limited and Winton Property Limited.
